Support
Help with Arca and the Arca add-ins for Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Contact support
Email contact@arca.inc with a description of the problem and, if you can, a screenshot. If your question is about the Word or Outlook add-in, tell us which one and whether you use Office on the web, Windows, or Mac.
Getting an account
Arca is sold to organizations under a paid subscription. Accounts are set up for your organization by Arca, not by individual sign-up. To get access, request a demo at arca.inc or email contact@arca.inc.
Arca for Word and Outlook
Open Arca from the Home tab in Word, or from the Arca button on a message in Outlook. Sign in with your work email, then enter the one-time code we send to that address.
In Word, Arca proposes every edit, comment, and redline as a card in the Arca pane. Nothing changes in your document until you accept it. In Outlook, Arca drafts replies that open in Outlook for you to edit and send. Arca never sends email on its own.
Common problems
- The sign-in code does not arrive. Check your spam or quarantine folder, and confirm you entered the work email your organization uses with Arca.
- Arca says your email has no account. Your organization may not have an Arca subscription yet, or your administrator has not added you. Contact your administrator or contact@arca.inc.
- The Arca button is missing. If your organization deploys add-ins centrally, ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to deploy Arca. It can take a few hours to appear after deployment.
- A reply does not open in Outlook on the web. Outlook on the web opens drafts in a new window. Allow pop-ups for Outlook if your browser blocks it.
