Founding Member of Technical Staff

AI is speeding up the discovery of new molecules and treatments. Getting one to the patients who need it still takes a decade, and most of that time goes to the work between the science and the patient: research, documentation, review, and submissions.

Arca applies the same AI that is speeding up discovery to that work. Our long-horizon agents take on the manual research and drafting, so scientists and regulatory teams can spend their time on strategy, problem solving, and discovery.

We are a small team building in person in New York City, with real customers and a lot left to build. Arca is out of OpenAI's accelerator, and the team includes staff engineers from Ramp, ex-government officials, and former founders.

You will be one of the first engineers at Arca. Nobody has an established playbook for agents in life sciences yet, and you'll help write it. You will work across the stack, own systems from zero to one, talk to customers, and make decisions that shape the product and codebase for years.

• Own and architect core systems: document ingestion, permissions, agent orchestration, collaborative review, evals, and the infrastructure underneath it
• Ship full-stack features end-to-end, from database schema to API to UI
• Build product features around agents and LLMs
• Make technical decisions that hold up as we scale
• Work directly with customers across life sciences and turn what you learn into product direction and shipped code
• Mentor future engineers and raise the quality bar across the codebase
