Founding AI Strategist

AI is speeding up the discovery of new molecules and treatments. Getting one to the patients who need it still takes a decade, and most of that time goes to the work between the science and the patient: research, documentation, review, and submissions.

Arca applies the same AI that is speeding up discovery to that work. Our long-horizon agents take on the manual research and drafting, so scientists and regulatory teams can spend their time on strategy, problem solving, and discovery.

We are a small team building in person in New York City, with real customers and a lot left to build. Arca is out of OpenAI's accelerator, and the team includes staff engineers from Ramp, ex-government officials, and former founders.

You will own Arca’s customer deployments end to end, from the first session with a pharma company or CRO through production use and account expansion. Much of how regulatory teams operate is never written down, so you’ll sit with them onsite, learn what a good output requires, and turn that into agents that deliver real ROI.

Within a given week you’ll be mapping how a submission comes together, working with engineering on turning customer feedback into product improvements, and pitching an executive sponsor on rolling Arca out across a new business unit. You’ll help write the playbook for deploying agentic software across global life sciences companies.

• Own deployments from kickoff through production, and stay accountable as the customer’s needs change and the deployment grows
• Map out how teams execute tasks, build agents to improve existing processes, and deploy them successfully in production to create leverage for Arca customers
• Work with the customer’s team to define what great outputs looks like, and figure out why a workflow falls short when it does. Constantly iterate and find areas to improve performance.
• Establish the metrics that matter before deployment so you can show how Arca improves cycle time, capacity, or outside spend
• Use those results to make the case for expansion with executive sponsors
• Bring what you learn in the field back to engineering as product requirements and see them through to delivery

• Experience owning complex customer outcomes in strategy consulting, product, operations, or enterprise implementation
• A technical background, whether from formal education or building your own tools
• Experience in life sciences
• You have been obsessively good at something and know what it feels like to chase excellence
